KBB Birmingham 2018 Review
The team travelled to the KBB Birmingham trade show at the NEC last week. With hundreds of suppliers exhibiting, we had our comfy walking shoes on and came away inspired with lots of new ideas, products and brands.
Here’s the round up of our favourite products and brands.
Franke Stainless Steel Integrated worktops
Coming soon from Franke is a range of stainless Steel worktops with integrated sinks and hobs, creating seamless, custom-built worktops. The worktops come in a range of different finishes from traditional brushed stainless steel to a ceramic coated finish. We can’t wait to incorporate one of these into a design, watch this space for the launch in the summer.
Konfigure by Kessebohmer – Storage Systems
We’re always looking for innovative and clever storage systems for our clients. Konfigure oak drawer inserts offer a multitude of options for organising your drawers, with cutlery trays, knife blocks, spice holders and foil and cling film holders. They also offer deep drawer box solutions including plate holders and peg board pan organisers. An organised life is a happy life!
Taps Galore
The Kitchen world has gone crazy for taps, which are now available in a myriad of finishes and colours. Taps can really bring a kitchen design together with matt black, brass, copper and gold finishes making a bold design statement. The growing market for hot/boiling water tap continues with most brands now offering a version. Sinks now also come in a variety of finishes such as copper/brass effect.

Caesarstone
We were really excited to view Caesarstone’s new concrete inspired range of engineered quartz. We loved the the rugged Concrete colourway, which has a textured finish and patina very close to concrete but in a non-porous, heat resistant material. Each slab is unique offering clients a bespoke finish worktop for their kitchen. We look forward to getting the samples in our showroom in the coming weeks.
