As 2025 unfolds, many of us find ourselves asking the perennial question: is it time for a change? With nearly 40% of the UK embracing remote or hybrid work, our homes have taken on a newfound significance, and at the heart of it all is the kitchen – a room that sees more life and love than any other. From weekday breakfasts to special celebrations, it’s the stage for countless moments.
But as you dream of a kitchen transformation, the question arises: how much does it cost? The truth is, the real question should be: how much does it cost to create a kitchen that lasts for years of family dinners, festive feasts, and even midnight snacks?
For those seeking a quick answer, here it is: our bespoke kitchens start at £40,000, with cabinetry priced from £18,000. But what does that investment really entail?
Quality That Endures
When it comes to kitchens priced below this range, it’s often a case of “you get what you pay for.” Many mass-market designs rely on chipboard for the carcasses of their cabinets – a material that may look the part initially but fails the test of time. Chipboard is prone to swelling and warping as it absorbs moisture, meaning these kitchens often last no more than 15 years. What’s more, much of this chipboard is imported from China, contributing to significant environmental costs long before the kitchen is installed.
In contrast, we exclusively use premium birch plywood for our cabinet carcasses. Known for its strength and durability, this material ensures our kitchens are built to last – backed by our 30-year guarantee, although we fully expect them to endure for much longer. Each kitchen is not just an investment in your home but in a sustainable future.
While plywood isn’t native to the UK, we source ours responsibly from Northern Europe’s lush birch forests. To offset our environmental footprint, we partner with the Avon Wildlife Trust, planting trees locally for every kitchen we create. Sustainability isn’t just a box we tick; it’s a core value that informs every decision we make.
Design and Craftsmanship Under One Roof
What sets us apart isn’t just our choice of materials – it’s how we bring everything together. Our design studio and workshop share a single location, eliminating unnecessary transport emissions and fostering seamless collaboration between our teams.
The design process is highly personal. Our team takes the time to understand your unique vision, ensuring every detail reflects your needs and lifestyle. Take, for instance, our Rectory Renovation project, where a client’s love of cooking inspired the creation of a bespoke spice drawer. For this same project, we sourced ash for the kitchen island from Longleat Forest, just a few miles from the client’s home – a nod to the enduring charm of local materials.
The beauty of working with a bespoke designer is the freedom to blend styles. Whether you prefer the timeless elegance of a traditional shaker design or the sleek lines of a modern aesthetic, we tailor every element to your taste. From hand-selected worktops to custom colour palettes, no detail is too small.

Craftsmanship You Can See
Once your design is perfected, it moves to our expert workshop team. Each piece is cut, assembled, and painted by hand, ensuring every kitchen is truly one of a kind. We even invite clients to visit our workshop and see the craftsmanship firsthand. It’s a rare opportunity to witness the passion and precision that go into every detail.
Installation is the final step, and our team ensures that your kitchen fits your home like a glove. In one project, a Country Shaker Kitchen, our team carefully cut cabinetry to fit the unique contours of a stone wall – a level of detail rarely seen in standard installations.
