Five Ways To Style A Japandi kitchen

Japandi: An A-list kitchen design

Hello bespoke kitchen fans.

It’s October 2025, and in this month’s journal we’re rolling out the red carpet for a showstopper design – unravelling five ways to create the Japandi look in your kitchen.

So, sit back, relax. Grab your popcorn. And enjoy the read.

1. OAK

Japandi interiors lean into neutral, earthy palettes – and this is where oak takes centre stage. Its warm tone softens colder elements like concrete flooring, making it feel less industrial and more homely.

2. Bespoke Handles

It’s all about purposeful placement. Our signature Japandi handle forms symmetrical lines and creates a sense of order in the kitchen. It’s the small details that make the biggest impressions.

3. Paint

Keep your palette grounded. Think soft greens, browns, and muted autumnal tones. These subtle hues are perfect for painted islands, open shelving, or accent cabinetry.

4. Cotham & Redland doors

The detail is in the doors:

  • Cotham: a flat panel door for a seamless, modern flow.
  • Redland: a thin framed style blending classic detail with a contemporary edge.

Both styles are a Japandi kitchen staple.

5. Lighting

Set the mood with warm, ambient lighting. 2000 – 3000K (Kelvin) is the sweet spot for ultimate cosiness. 4000K+ will make your space feel like a dentist’s office (say aghhhh!).

Keep it warm.

Keep it Japandi.
