FIVE HANDLE STYLES TO TRANSFORM YOUR KITCHEN
1 minute read
Handle business
When it comes to kitchen door design, handles are kind of a big deal. They’re what cheese is to wine. What butter is to bread. One just feels weird without the other, right? But sometimes choosing your favourite pairing can be tricky.
Fear not. We’ve listed five of our favourite door opening devices to help transform your kitchen design.
The J-scoop

Cut in the shape of a J, scooped into the door. Neat and tidy – smooth to the touch. This handle paired with an oak or painted finish and FENIX veneer is a match made in the kitchen. You can also spice things up with a painted back or oak back J-scoop for extra pops of colour – spicy.
This design is inspired by the mid-century movement and features in our Cotham range.
The cut-out

Also known as a ‘notch’ or a ‘gap-handle’, this discrete handle is cut out of the cabinet frame leaving your doors untouched. Perfect if you’re obsessed with clean lines and symmetry.
You’ll find this beauty in our Montpelier range.
The Japandi

Our signature handle: made with oak, crafted by hand. It’s robust. It’s bespoke. And it’s just really satisfying to use. A popular choice to create a Japanese/Scandinavian vibe.
This one’s a regular in our Cotham range.
Corston pulls and knobs

Armac Martin pulls

A true classic: the half-moon handle. This design has been around for years and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Why? Because class is permanent. Armac Martin pulls are a timeless choice when styling shaker and farmhouse kitchens.
Find these handles orbiting our Ashton range.
