STROUD SHAKER KITCHEN
Inspired by the beautiful window views, our client opted for a vibrant palette of cobalt blue for the Stroud Shaker Kitchen. We hand-painted the Shaker cabinets in Farrow & Ball’s St Giles Blue, with matching painted knobs. Slimline worktops and stainless steel appliances provide a contrast to the brightness of the cabinets.

I just missed a bit of creativity in terms of re-using existing materials - which I think is key for sustainability. But I believe this is a problem with the renovation/architectural/building markets as a whole. They were innovative and enthusiastic about the design and had lots of advice on making the most out of our small 1930s kitchen (which, despite being a modest size, they have made feel really special with the beautiful features they have included, such as wood panelling and a brass boiling water tap).
