Obsidian GReen Kitchen

A classic Shaker Kitchen in an obsidian green color with heritage brass pulls and a contrasting white island.

The tall bank of cabinets houses an integrated fridge freezer with two large double larders creating endless storage. Double ovens are concealed within the island on the back run and out of sight.

Using a downdraft extractor allows for a low cabinet run as to not encroach on the space, ensuring that the room doesn’t feel crowded. The floating shelf adds colour and dressing to the room to compliment the Obsidian Green.

Sustaibable Kitchens made our kitchen nearly three years ago and I wanted to give them a review as I am as happy with the kitchen now as I was when it was first fitted. The cabinets look as good as new and that is with massive usages from a family of five with three teenagers who really test it! It’s is so solidly built, beautifully constructed and very hard wearing. We also thought it was very good value for money compared with other companies I looked at. They were really attentive to what we envisioned and very patient with all the details requestes. I just missed a bit of creativity in terms of re-using existing materials - which I think is key for sustainability. They were innovative and enthusiastic about the design and had lots of advice on making the most out of our small 1930s kitchen (which, despite being a modest size, they have made feel really special with the beautiful features they have included, such as wood panelling and a brass boiling water tap). The final installation is perfect and all lines are smooth and flawlessly made to measure, which is why we chose them - we knew we'd get a bespoke design with an excellent quality finish.
