STROUD SHAKER KITCHEN
Inspired by the beautiful window views, our client opted for a vibrant palette of cobalt blue for the Stroud Shaker Kitchen. We hand-painted the Shaker cabinets in Farrow & Ball’s St Giles Blue, with matching painted knobs. Slimline worktops and stainless steel appliances provide a contrast to the brightness of the cabinets.

The cabinets look as good as new and that is with massive usages from a family of five with three teenagers who really test it! They were really attentive to what we envisioned and very patient with all the details requestes. I just missed a bit of creativity in terms of re-using existing materials - which I think is key for sustainability. We couldn't fault Sustainable Kitchens at all and are delighted with the kitchen they installed for us last summer. They were innovative and enthusiastic about the design and had lots of advice on making the most out of our small 1930s kitchen (which, despite being a modest size, they have made feel really special with the beautiful features they have included, such as wood panelling and a brass boiling water tap).
