1. our people
Starting with a small Bristol based workshop in 2008, SK founder Sam Shaw has assembled, nurtured and grown a close knit team of highly skilled and motivated makers, designers and creative professionals, who all share his passion for the work that we make and the people we meet.
2. our design
Sustainable Kitchens was born from the philosophy that anything is possible if you just give it a go. Whilst this has led to some challenging builds it has always kept us pushing boundaries and perfecting our craft.
Our design team comprises kitchen experts, Interior Architects, Interior Designers, CAD designers and Production Engineers, who work together to bring the most exciting design concepts and materials to life.
3. our planet
Sustainable Kitchens is a carbon-neutral certified business, the first step on our journey to net zero. Whilst we know that offsetting is not the solution, we work hard to reduce and remove our emissions.
Our whole team lives sustainably and the SK “green team” meet regularly to push ideas forward. Our materials, practices, suppliers and collaborators are all carefully selected with the environment in mind.
4. commitment & care
We believe that the journey is just as important as the destination. From the first survey to the final lick of paint, we liaise with your architect and tradespeople to ensure your experience with us is smooth and stress-free.
From the moment you commission your new kitchen, you become a part of the Sustainable Kitchens family and can rely on our aftercare service for years to come.
5. our kitchens
All our Sustainable Kitchens are hand-built with the finest materials by skilled craftspeople right here in Bristol. Every cabinet is made with a level of detail that exudes precision and artistry and will last you a lifetime.
“Sustainable Kitchens supplied exquisite, fully custom built kitchen cabinetry. We hoped for a ‘forever kitchen’ and weren’t disappointed. Every part is beautifully constructed and finished. Absolutely no shortcuts taken. Really delighted.” – Abigail Whitten
