Founded in Bristol, Sustainable Kitchens has always had the mission of combining beautiful bespoke kitchen styles with sustainability practices and an eco-friendly focus. OUR PEOPLE
Starting with a small Bristol-based workshop in 2008, Sustainable Kitchens founder Sam Shaw has assembled, nurtured and grown a close-knit team of highly skilled and motivated makers, designers and creative professionals. Everyone in the team is passionate about the work that they do and dedicated to bringing quality, sustainable, and functional kitchens to the people they meet.
Our Innovative Designs
Sustainable Kitchens (formerly Honest Kitchens) was founded on a simple belief: if you’re willing to try, almost anything is possible. This mindset drives us to push the boundaries of modern kitchen design and take on ambitious builds.
Our team of kitchen experts, interior architects, designers, CAD specialists and production engineers collaborate to bring exciting design concepts to life. We specialise in sustainable real-wood kitchens, creating bespoke designs tailored to your space, style and lifestyle.
Our Planet Promise
Sustainable Kitchens is a carbon-neutral certified business, the first step on our journey to net zero. Whilst we know that offsetting carbon is not the solution, we work hard to reduce and remove our emissions as a crucial first step. Our materials, practices, suppliers and contract collaborators are all carefully selected with the environmental impact and alignment with our sustainable goals in mind.
Kitchen Commitment & Care
We believe that the journey is just as important as the destination. From the first survey to the final lick of paint, we liaise with your architect and tradespeople to ensure your experience with us is smooth and stress-free.
From the moment you commission your new kitchen, you become a part of the Sustainable Kitchens family and can rely on our aftercare service for years to come.

All our Sustainable Kitchens are hand-built with the finest materials by skilled craftspeople right here in our Bristol studio. Every cabinet and drawer is made with a level of detail that exudes precision and artistry and will last you a lifetime.
