Colour by Numbers Kitchen

Every now and then we are asked to design something really different, these are the projects that really excite our designers.
Ben and Clizia approached us in early 2015 to design an Arts and Crafts kitchen which would fill their lives with bright joyful colour whilst showcasing the beauty of the raw materials, the result is a beautifully simple kitchen which has the bewildering power to brighten your mood.
We used chunky sustainable Birch plywood for the entire project with the frames left as natural ply whilst the flat panel plywood doors and drawers are painted in an array of the liveliest colours Farrow & Ball have in their collection.  For the island we reversed the effect with the intense Babouche framing the subtle plywood doors.  The inclusion of brushed stainless steel worktops completes the effect providing a really robust finish to what is a very productive little kitchen in Bath.
