This is a kitchen of contrasts. Traditional Shaker cabinetry and reclaimed timbers play host to the most cutting-edge appliances and task lighting. Light stone worktops perfectly complement the dark, antique oak worktops.
For this project, choosing the right palette was key. We opted for Farrow & Ball’s beautifully serene Mole’s Breath; juxtaposing it with a Moleanos 30mm marble worktop from local supplier, Bristol Marble and Granite.

This is a young sincere company. Ours was a barn conversion and they were innovative with the details including wood treatments and recycling some of the 17th century barn wood. They listened to what we wanted. We worked out a good plan re the appliances which we sourced separately, and the construction of the units. It is a pleasure to open every cupboard, especially the purpose built larder with it's cool shelf and fine decorative vent screen. They were flexible working around the builders delays, and their finishing touches and care manual have been superb. They may not know everything about all the appliances that are out there, but I am sure they soon will. See the pictures of our kitchen on their web site and see for yourself!
